Revised Young's
Literal Translation (RYLT) - is a work in progress which
is a Modern English update of Young's Literal Translation of the Holy
Bible published in 1898. Your help is needed to proof read the text of
this update.
American King
James Version - This version, accomplished by
Michael Peter (Stone) Engelbrite, is based on the original King James
Version and is a simple word for word update of the King James English
spelling and vocabulary. This version was put in the public domain on
November 8, 1999.
Analytical-Literal Translation of
the Holy Bible (ALT) - The Analytical-Literal
Translation of the Holy Bible (ALT) is a new Bible version dedicated to
the glory of God. The ALT is being published by Darkness to Light
ministry. It is currently in progress and undergoing several stages of
production. The ALT adheres to a "literal" or "formal equivalence"
method of translating, while "analyzing" details of the vocabulary and
grammar of the Hebrew and Greek texts. In initial stages the New Testament
will be based on the Textus Receptus. Later, conversion will be made to
the Byzantine Majority Text.

- The
Concordant Literal New Testament - A. E. Knoch devoted a lifetime to the development of a
concordant (i.e., harmonious and practically consistent) translation of
the Scriptures, one that was as accurate and literal as the constraints of
idiom and good diction would permit. The Concordant Version employs a
method of translation that takes into account the superhuman perfection of
the scriptural writings, even to the minutest detail (Matt.5:18). Though
the Version includes many technical features, ones which can be of great
value to the advanced student, its greatest benefit accrues even to the
ordinary reader whenever it is simply read, carefully and thoughtfully,
whether in devotional reading or study. An html version is also found
on the Concordant
Publishing Concern web site.

NET Bible without cost for personal study. In addition, anyone who wants

- New American Bible -
is the achievement of some fifty biblical scholars, the
greater number of whom, though not all, are Catholics. In particular, the
editors-in-chief have devoted twenty-five years to this work. The
collaboration of scholars who are not Catholic fulfills the directive of
the Second Vatican Council, not only that "correct translations be made
into different languages especially from the original texts of the sacred
books," but that, "with the approval of the church authority, these
translations be produced in cooperation with separated brothers" so that
"all Christians may be able to use them."

The Holy Bible -
Urim-Thummim Version - By Dallas James. The Urim-Thummim
Version, is a modern translation of the New Testament employing the King
James Version and Young's Literal Translation as the "base text". But the
UTV is much more than an update of older versions, as it goes deep within
the definition range of the Greek text to find specific choices that make
the text come alive. This has been done on a verse by verse basis rather
than using a "grid" method to try and fit the text into order. The result
is a Bible translation that speaks to our modern world.
