Thank you for visiting us today. There is so much for you to explore on our website but let us start with a basic introduction to our ministry...
True Grace Ministries was established in September of 1995 under the auspices of the Universal Life Church, as an independent, specialized, Christian ministry, by the Rev. Ken Allen, Th.D., an ordained minister of the Universal Life Church. On October 15, 1997, True Grace Ministries was chartered as an Independent Saint Luke Evangelical Christian Church.
Although we are an independent ministry, we are an integral part of the Universal Life Church Community with a definite Christian orientation. For more information, see the article "The Universal Life Church and True Grace Ministries".
We, as an organization believe in
- the absolute right to Freedom of Religion
- doing that which is right (Mic 6:8; Mat 7:12; Luke 10:27).
- Our Goal - A fuller Life for Everyone (John 10:10)
- Our Objective - Eternal Progression (2Pet 3:18)
- Our Slogan - To Live and Help Live (Rom 12:9-10)
- Our Faith - Christian Universalist (1 Tim. 4:10)
We Want - To be competent, to be proficient, to be cooperative, to love our fellow woman/man, to appreciate, to be humble, to be honest, to be moral, to live positively, and to be what we profess, and to walk our talk.
WE ARE ONE !
We recognize and accept the oneness of all humanity as brothers and sisters created in the image of God. We also recognize and accept the special, Spiritual, oneness as a "new creation," and as brothers and sisters "in Christ," of all who believe that "Jesus is the Christ, the Son of the Living God. He came in the flesh, died for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day according to the Scriptures."
Therefore, we strive to promote faith in God, unity of the Spirit among believers, love and understanding among all people. We pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart (2 Tim. 2:22). We seek to walk worthy of the calling with which we were called, with all lowiness and humility, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace (Eph 4:1-3).
Statement Of Faith
We believe, that the Holy Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments contain a revelation of the character of God, and of the duty, interest, and final destination of mankind.
We believe there is one God, whose nature is love; revealed in one Lord Jesus Christ, by one Holy Spirit of grace, who will finally restore the whole family of mankind to holiness and happiness.
We believe, that holiness and true happiness are inseparably connected; and that believers ought to maintain order, and practice good works, for these things are good and profitable unto men.
We believe that God, as the moral governor of the universe, will restore righteous and equitable rewards and punishments upon all mankind according to their several characters or deserts; but that all punishment will be remedial, and consequently limited.
